Arithmos Skin creates hand-blended skincare using fresh, natural plant-based oils designed to nourish and support healthy skin. Their curated body care collection offers the luxurious benefits of moisturised, firm, and hydrated skin through decadent oil blends, with the added bonus of mood-enhancing aromatherapy to complete the experience.
The Story
Arithmos
Arithmos Skin was established by Michelle Wang in Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 2019 and launched in early 2020, the brand’s inception was motivated by Michelle’s concern for her young daughter’s skin condition – a persistent dry and itchy affliction that led to constant scratching around 2018.
“I tried so many products but nothing worked… The amount of different products I was applying to her skin was worrying as a parent,” Michelle recalls. “My knowledge of ingredients in these products was limited and I found the product labels very complicated, so I decided to take matters into my own hands,” she adds.
Determined to find a solution, Michelle began extensive research on the benefits of botanical oils and attended workshops to learn how to create her own organic skincare products. Her efforts led to the development of a product that not only alleviated her daughter’s skin issues but also restored her skin to a healthy, supple state. This success sparked Michelle’s passion for crafting effective, natural skincare solutions.
Motivated to deepen her expertise, Michelle returned to school and enrolled in a skincare formulation course, all while balancing her studies with a successful career as an accountant in the banking industry. She is now a qualified Cosmetic Chemist.
“Arithmos was born from my desire to create simple, natural skincare with seasonal ingredients that is highly effective and powerful,” says Michelle.

Arithmos’ precise formulas are hand-blended and crafted in small batches to guarantee that you receive the freshest product available rather than a bottle that’s been sitting on a shelf for months. They use seasonally sourced ingredients at their freshest, ensuring you experience the best benefits from plant to skin.
NATURAL, HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS
Arithmos’ products are formulated with plant-based oils, of which 99% are certified organic. Each ingredient has undergone rigorous selection criteria and a stringent quality control process to ensure only the highest-quality seasonal oils are used. Like many DOR brands, Arithmos abstains from using synthetic ingredients such as parabens, artificial fragrances, petroleum jelly, or polymers.
VEGAN
Arithmos products are vegan-friendly and certified by Vegan Australia. This means they do not contain animal by-products or animal-sourced ingredients.
CRUELTY-FREE
Arithmos’ products are 100% cruelty-free and certified by Choose Cruelty Free in Australia. Their body oils are never tested on animals, only on Michelle’s family and friends.
ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING
Let’s all do our part for the environment. Arithmos only uses recyclable and biodegradable products for packaging, including recyclable glass bottles, kraft paper mailer boxes and cartons, and biodegradable mailer bags. This aligns Arithmos with The D.O.R. Beauty Edit’s sustainability policy, which is why they’re one of our favourite brands.
We always aim to offer the very best levels of service possible and we really hope that you love our natural skin care products as much as we do, but if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied, you can return your item within 30 days of receiving your order.
If you wish to cancel an order or are not satisfied with the products sent to you, please email us at shop@thedorbeautyedit.com to let us know which items you are not happy with and the reasons why you would like to return them. You can either receive a full refund on the cost of the products or exchange them for something else.
Please ensure all returned items are packaged securely. For your own peace of mind, we recommend you send returned items by recorded delivery to ensure you are covered for compensation should they get lost in the post; unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for returned goods that are lost in transit.
Faulty Items or Items Sent In Error
If the product or container is faulty, or if we’ve made a mistake with your order and sent you the wrong item, we will also refund the cost of the original delivery and pay the postage costs you have incurred to send back the item.
Please just enclose the till receipt from the post office.

Refund time
We will refund you within 10 days of receiving your returned goods. We can only make a refund against the original credit or debit card that you paid with. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
